I got into journalism to become a writer. However, I sometimes wonder if the most motivating factor to be a journalist has not been the fact of being born a woman and poor. When you are a woman, you have to fight more. Consequently, to see more and to think more and to be more creative. The same, when you were born poor. Survival is a great pusher. The motivating factor of each of my posts is "a great emotion, both a psychological or political and [an] intellectual emotion." A writer needs time to be tested in his/her value. Having success in life means nothing. Success in life has too much to do with fashion, publicity, and so on. A writer stays a writer after his death or many years after his/her books were published.
